This is our 2 bedroom hacienda in Sayulita. We are one block from the beach. It is quite comfortable. Everyone has alittle space for themselves. We only have the upstairs, but it seems plenty of room.lots,of hot water and very nice people helping us out....

One week later and we are warm!

We have finally arrived in Mexico, One week later then we had planned but it has all fallen into place. With all the bad weather in Seattle our flight was delayed for one long week. Which made leaving so much easier this time, because we were already. And the tempertures were falling fast. When I checked today, Talkeetna is 27 below!! Makes this 85 degree weather like heaven...We landed in Puerta Vallerta at 3:30pm and walked thru the airport trying not to be swayed by all the taxi and time share people. We walked over the bridge to find a taxi and then had it bring us down to our hotel. Posa de Rodger, a place where friends had stayed 20 years ago and loved it, because it was right downtown and clean...I don't think it has changed much since then..the people there were so helpful answering our quesitons on how we could get to Sayulita. The taxi guy had offered us a ride there for $50 us but of course we always like to go the more adventurous way!! We took one bus to Walmart where all the other buses meet, and then we caught a different bus to Sayulita....It was a great ride, they drive just like a roller coaster ride! Up winding roads into the hills.....
